Dear Students,
Greetings from the GTU-School of Engineering and Technology.
GTU-School of Engineering and Technology was established by Gujarat Technological University in 2017 with the vision of delivering quality technical education, promoting innovative research, and nurturing socially responsible engineers capable of addressing the challenges of modern society.
At present, GTU-SET offers two AICTE-approved undergraduate programs: B.E. in Computer Engineering and B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering. In addition, the institute runs four AICTE-approved postgraduate programs: M.E. in Computer Engineering (Cyber Security), M.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering (VLSI Design), M.E. in Computer Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Data Science), and M.E. in Civil Engineering (Structural Engineering). GTU-SET also offers a Post Graduate Diploma in Data Science, approved by GTU. All these programs are designed to provide strong technical foundations and develop competent professionals in emerging and specialized domains.
Beyond academics, GTU-SET strongly believes in the holistic and all-round development of students. The institute has established several Centers of Excellence and advanced laboratories in emerging technologies such as Cyber Security, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Internet of Things (IoT), and industry-supported Bosch automation environments. These facilities provide students with hands-on exposure to cutting-edge technologies and help bridge the gap between academic learning and industry requirements.
We are fortunate to have dynamic leadership at the university level and highly qualified, experienced faculty members dedicated to mentoring students. The institute is equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories enabling students to gain practical knowledge and research experience.
GTU-SET actively promotes innovation, entrepreneurship, and industry collaboration. Through strong linkages with government agencies and private industries, students get opportunities to work on real-time projects and practical problem-solving. The presence of Atal Incubation Center (AIC) and Design Innovation Center (DIC) further supports students in transforming their innovative ideas into startups and entrepreneurial ventures.
In a short span of time, GTU-SET has achieved several milestones in engineering education, research, and innovation, and continues to strive for excellence in developing skilled and responsible engineers for the future.
