GTU-SET reflects the University’s commitment to excellence in engineering education through a balanced focus on academic learning, practical skills, research, innovation, entrepreneurship, and societal responsibility. The School is committed to providing students with opportunities for experiential learning, industry interaction, internships, interdisciplinary projects, and exposure to emerging technologies.
With focus on areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Cyber Security, IoT, Blockchain, advanced computing, automation, and sustainable engineering, GTU-SET aims to remain responsive to evolving technological and national needs. Through Centres of Excellence, modern laboratories, research initiatives, consultancy, and collaborations with industry and reputed institutions, the School is building a strong ecosystem for learning and innovation.
I encourage faculty and researchers to pursue high-quality research, externally funded projects, intellectual property, consultancy, technology transfer, and collaborative work. Students should be inspired to transform their ideas into innovative solutions, prototypes, products, and start-ups that address real-world challenges.
As India progresses towards the vision of Viksit Bharat@2047, GTU-SET has an important role to play in developing skilled and responsible professionals and contributing through indigenous technology, research, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
I appreciate the dedicated efforts of the Director, faculty, staff, students, researchers, alumni, and partners of GTU-SET. With collective commitment and a pursuit of excellence, I am confident that the School will achieve new milestones and emerge as a nationally and globally respected centre for engineering education, research, and innovation.
