Any organization wants skilled manpower and society wants a human being. We, at GTU-School of Engineering and Technology (GTU-SET) try to give such dual shapes to the students who are studying here.

We believe in one of the inspiring quotes made by Swami Vivekananda: "We want that education by which character is formed, strength of mind is increased, the intellect is expanded and by which one can stand on one’s own feet". Thoughts and services of a well educated person are not limited to himself or his family but extended for the society and country on right time and in a proper way.

Our school's formula is very simple: Come, Learn and Serve. We are developing the students by bringing out the hidden skills inside them. We know that there is no absence of ability but type of ability is different from a student to student and organization, society have need of all type of abilities.

Only theoretical knowledge is same as you are explaining to a 7 or 8 year old child about all steps of how to ride a bicycle but never let him to sit on bicycle and ride it by himself. In our school of engineering and technology, we insist to each student to take part in practical work, try to solve real time problems and mainly keep synchronization of his understanding with actual work going on in relevant companies/industries/organizations.

As we have vision of keeping our country in front row, we are trying to give our best in that direction to our young generation.
